Layout 2.0
Hey everyone,
As an ongoing project to improve my design work I've been updating the layout of GLIDE. As of right now you can grab the newest version of GLIDE for you digital and printing needs! I've removed the old version from the download list as it is now outdated.
The new version of GLIDE implements the FAQ rules clarifications and changes the presentation of rules and their flow. I've re-written a few sections to increase legibility and remove my (incessant) passive voice usage. Some things might have been missed but I feel this version is much better!
You will also notice a huge number of new art pieces included. These are all done by the talented Evlyn Moreau, who you can support on Patreon to get your own artwork for project use. I feel Evlyn's style fits great with the original artwork and I'm proud to provide an update that makes the game even more alive.
Any questions and concerns can be left below. As a bonus, I'm working on a new character sheet which should be done within the next few days. I will not publish a dev-log for it, so just keep your eyes out for it.

Is the version on Drivethrurpg the newest version? I'm thinking about picking up a print copy.

Hey Snorklebob,
It is the old version right now. I'm updating the print layouts for a few of my games and will be ordering all the proofs together. I'll post an update here when the new print-on-demand version is made available, likely near the end of April 2024.

*Edit - Uploaded for you now. I removed the black backgrounds throughout and the top borders. All art is still included. If there are any issues, please let me know.

Will the DTRPG version be getting the update as well? I have the physical book from there and the supplements from here but I'd like to see the spiffy new art, and maybe mark up the book with any small rules changes.
I will be submitting the PDF update on DTRPG this week and submitting the print copy for a proof. Printing takes upwards of 3 weeks right now, so expect more news in April.

this is incredible, so great. Evelyn's additional art makes it even better. so all this to ask; when can we get a nice physical copy of all of Glide 2024 edition?
Thank you! I have 50 copies in print right now that are going with me to Breakout Con in Toronto. The next print run will be based on pre-orderss available through itch.io. I'll post pictures of what the book will look like once I have them on-hand.
